Docent-Led Group Tours

Schedule a docent-led private tour for groups. Perfect for Educational field trips, community groups, etc. Hundreds of CNUSD visit us yearly!

By Appointment only. 

 

General Information

  • Admission: All tours are free; appointment required.

  • Group Size: Groups sizes up to 40, for ages 8 years and up.

  • Minors: Children under 18 must be with an adult. Groups require the appropriate number of chaperones.

  • Scheduled Tour Time: tours typically take around one hour.   

  • Punctuality: Groups must arrive within 15 minutes before the appointment time.

 

Included 

MUSEUM: LOCAL HISTORY TOUR  

Discover Corona's history, including mining and citrus development, with artifacts collected over 40 years and donated by and from citizens of Corona and beyond. Thousands of artifacts span the space.

CORONA MODEL RAILROAD EXHIBIT: 1949 CITRUS RAIL EXHIBIT 

Immerse in an HO scale layout showcasing rail lines from Fullerton to Riverside to Corona as they were in the citrus hey-day of 1949. You could spend hours here enjoying and admiring the details the Railroad Society Club has spent 20 years planning, building and perfecting. 

GARDENS & GROUNDS: URBAN FOREST TOUR 

Learn about diverse mature trees from around the world in the park. Walk through a lemon grove, wander a botanical garden, enjoy the Memorial Rose Garden (150 varieties of roses!) and more.
